Bruce McCulloch is best known as a founding member of legendary Canadian comedy troupe The Kids in The Hall, bringing memorable characters Flying Pig, Cabbage Head, pop starlet Tammy, talkative schoolchild Gavin and grumpy middle-aged man Gordon to the nation’s television screens. He continues to act in film and television, including performances on Arrested Development, Workaholics, Gilmore Girls, Young Drunk Punk and Super Troopers. In addition to acting, he is a writer for Saturday Night Live, and has directed major motion pictures including blockbuster films Superstar (starring Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon) and Stealing Harvard (starring Leslie Mann and Jason Lee). An acclaimed music video director, Bruce McCulloch was awarded the “Best Director” MuchMusic Video Award for the Tragically Hip’s single My Music At Work. An unprecedented thirty consecutive years on Canadian television, proud Newfoundlander Cathy Jones is the founder and only remaining original cast member of This Hour Has 22 Minutes. A national treasure, her vast array of characters includes Mrs. Enid, Babe Bennett, Joe Crow and Love Murphy. Among the most awarded individuals in Canadian comedy history, Cathy Jones boasts 18 Gemini Awards and 3 Canadian Comedy Awards for “Best Writing in a Comedy Series”. |
