Program Overview 

At AIM, we believe strongly in preparing our graduates of the 1000 hour Certificate Program with a strong education base that goes far beyond relaxation training. 

The course content is the same as the 1000 hour full time program. 

Course information is delivered during the on site sessions at the school and supplemented with take home assignments, research projects and practicum hours during the weeks in between training sessions. Quizzes, exams, presentations and practicums are completed during the training weekends. 

Supplementary classes included in the tuition are: CPR, First Aid, Assessment, Sports Massage level 1 and a facilitated cadaver lab session at the University of Calgary Medical School. 

Classroom hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. about one weekend per month. The first weekend is two days Saturday and Sunday and there is one full week session. Distance Learning training students are welcome to utilize the school facilities and learning aids for study.
