This annual bedding plant will require occasional maintenance and upkeep, and should not require much pruning, except when necessary, such as to remove dieback. It has no significant negative characteristics.
Scopia Dark Pink Bacopa is recommended for the following landscape applications;
- Container Planting
- General Garden Use
- Border Edging
- Mass Planting
- Hanging Baskets
- Groundcover
Plant Characteristics:
Scopia Dark Pink Bacopa will grow to be only 6 inches tall at maturity, with a spread of 24 inches. Its foliage tends to remain low and dense right to the ground. Although it's not a true annual, this fast-growing plant can be expected to behave as an annual in our climate if left outdoors over the winter, usually needing replacement the following year.
This annual bedding plant should only be grown in full sunlight. It does best in average to evenly moist conditions, but will not tolerate standing water. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments. This plant can be propagated by cuttings.
This is a selected variety of a species not originally from North America.
