Durango Gold Marigold features bold gold daisy flowers at the ends of the stems from late spring to late summer. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It's fragrant ferny leaves remain dark green in colour throughout the season. The fruit is not ornamentally significant.

Durango Gold Marigold is an herbaceous annual bedding plant with an upright spreading habit of growth. It brings an extremely fine and delicate texture to the garden composition and should be used to full effect.
This is a relatively low maintenance annual bedding plant. Trim off the flower heads after they fade and die to encourage more blooms late into the season. Deer don't particularly care for this plant and will usually leave it alone in favor of tastier treats. It has no significant negative characteristics.

This annual bedding plant does best in full sun to partial shade. It does best in average to evenly moist conditions, but will not tolerate standing water. It is not particular as to soil type or pH, and is able to handle environmental salt. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments. This plant can be propagated by seed.
