Landscape Attributes:

Curly Parsley is a dense herbaceous annual bedding plant with a mounded form. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other garden plants with less refined foliage.

This is a high maintenance annual bedding plant that will require regular care and upkeep, and is best cleaned up in early spring before it resumes active growth for the season. It has no significant negative characteristics.

Curly Parsley is recommended for the following landscape applications;

  • Herb Gardens
  • Container Planting

Plant Characteristics:

Curly Parsley will grow to be about 12 inches tall at maturity, with a spread of 20 inches. Although it's not a true annual, this fast-growing plant can be expected to behave as an annual in our climate if left outdoors over the winter, usually needing replacement the following year.

This annual bedding plant should only be grown in full sunlight. It prefers to grow in average to moist conditions, and shouldn't be allowed to dry out. It is not particular as to soil pH, but grows best in rich soils. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments. This plant can be propagated by seed.

This is a selected variety of a species not originally from North America.
