Heavenly Blue Morning Glory features bold blue trumpet-shaped flowers with white throats along the stems from early summer to early fall. It's heart-shaped leaves remain green in colour throughout the season. The fruit is not ornamentally significant.

Heavenly Blue Morning Glory is a multi-stemmed annual bedding plant with a ground-hugging habit of growth. Its medium texture blends into the garden, but can always be balanced by a couple of finer or coarser plants for an effective composition.

This is a high maintenance annual bedding plant that will require regular care and upkeep, and can be pruned at anytime. It is a good choice for attracting hummingbirds to your yard. Gardeners should be aware of the following characteristic(s) that may warrant special consideration;

Plant Characteristics:

Heavenly Blue Morning Glory will grow to be about 10 feet tall at maturity, with a spread of 24 inches. It has a climber canopy with a typical clearance of 1 feet from the ground. Although it's not a true annual, this fast-growing plant can be expected to behave as an annual in our climate if left outdoors over the winter, usually needing replacement the following year.

This annual bedding plant should only be grown in full sunlight. It does best in average to evenly moist conditions, but will not tolerate standing water. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments. This plant can be propagated by seed.
