About Us

The Red Deer Christmas Bureau gives Toys to children and food to families in need at Christmas time.  Our goal is that no child go without during the holiday season.  The Toy Depot is our hub for the season, where we do all of our work.  We operate on strictly a volunteer basis, no paid positions!  We have a base of 140+ volunteers that help from September through January, with a few working in the off season on special projects.  We have a number of fundraisers that we utilize to get our message across and collect toys and cash for our organization.  In the past few years we have averaged over 900 applications a season for our services.  We work with other organizations to make sure that everyone receives the help that they need.
