About Us

I love that, through orthodontics, I get to practice an art and a science each and every day. I have a passion for the scientific knowledge necessary to achieve a beautiful artistic result, to craft amazing smiles and create excellent oral health for those I am honored to treat. I believe that my profession allows me to give something unique to my patients: In caring for their smile, I change their lives for the better, and increase their self-esteem and their confidence as they move through the world.

Being around people all day is rewarding for me. I feel that the more people I come into contact with, the better I perform as an orthodontist and the better person I become. My patients are individual people and I see and interact with them as such. Our conversations are rewarding: I learn from them and we share stories about our lives. Each interaction leaves me thinking about something new, and prods me to grow in a new direction; I am a more well-rounded person as a result of my patients and I thank them for that.

I actively pursue continuing education courses that allow me to stay current in my field and this enables me to deliver the most leading-edge and efficient orthodontic treatment to my patients. I have a passion to be continually learning about developments in oral healthcare, and am involved in Invisalign®, Carestream 3D imaging, TADs, and 3i Ortho Masters Club courses.

Personal Life

I grew up in Calgary and now live in Red Deer with my wife, Arpit. When I’m not caring for my patients or studying, I tend to keep very busy, whether I’m skiing, golfing, or playing squash. I also enjoy good food and wine, traveling, and collecting classic cars.

Believing in support for our community, my orthodontic practice sponsors many local organizations, including Red Deer Minor Hockey, Stettler Minor Hockey, Rocky Mountain House Minor Hockey, Premier Dance Academy, Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School basketball and volleyball teams, Red Deer Lacrosse Association, the MS Society of Canada – Alberta Division, and Red Deer Hospice Society.
