The Canada Day Celebration runs from 11:00am-11:30pm at Bower Ponds. Admission is free, and the park is accessible on foot, by bicycle, or by taking advantage of the Park N' Ride service running every 15 minutes from Sorensen Station, beginning at 10:45.

Every year at the Canada Day Celebration, we feature food from a variety of Central Alberta's many cultural organizations! There are so many delicious foods on the menu, we just had to share a couple from each booth.
ACFA- maple pudding cake.
Red Deer Afghan Canadian Association- shami kabobs, chicken kabobs.
Red Deer and District Chinese Community Society- spring rolls, dumplings.
German Canadian Club- bratwurst, strudel.
Central Alberta Cameroonian Community- chicken legs, plantain.
International Women of Purpose- jollof rice, chin-chin.
Philippine Canadian Association of Red Deer and District- rancit, chicken adobo.

July 1st from 8:00 pm until 12:00 am- 45 St, northwest of 45 Ave (Capstone at Riverlands); 47 St, west of 54 Ave (Capstone at Riverlands).
