Enjoy their generous contributions on Canada Day, from 11:00 am-11:30 pm at Bower Ponds. Access to the park is available by walking, cycling, or enjoying the Park 'n Ride service departing every 15 minutes from Sorensen Station, beginning at 10:45 am.
A complete parking ban is being imposed for the Great Chief Park & Bower Ponds area during the Canada Day Celebrations on Sunday, July 1st. In order to manage traffic flow the following roads will be closed.
July 1st at 8:00 am to July 2nd at 1:00 am- Kerry Wood Drive from Oak Drive to Taylor Drive. *No left hand turns will be permitted off of Taylor Drive from 10:30 pm until after the completion of the event.*
July 1st from 8:00 pm until 12:00 am- 45 St, northwest of 45 Ave (Capstone at Riverlands); 47 St, west of 54 Ave (Capstone at Riverlands).

Join the Red Deer Cultural Heritage Society at Bower Ponds from 11 am-11:30 pm on Canada Day for the celebration of the year!
This year's Canada Day evening performers are Brad Abel, Brianna Lizotte, Alecia Aichelle, and St. James' Gate! Performances by these musicians begin at 6:00 pm, topping off a day of music, dancing, and celebration onstage beginning at 11:00 am. Don't miss your chance to see these talented Canadian musicians live onstage, stop by Bower Ponds for the Canada Day Celebration!

Parking will not be available on location. You can access Bower Ponds by walking, cycling, or taking advantage of the Park n' Ride Bus Service! Starting at 10:45, park for free, then depart from Sorensen Station for 15 minute service to Bower Ponds and back.
