A complete parking ban is being imposed for the Great Chief Park & Bower Ponds area during the Canada Day Celebrations on Sunday, July 1st. In order to manage traffic flow the following roads will be closed. July 1st at 8:00 am to July 2nd at 1:00 am- Kerry Wood Drive from Oak Drive to Taylor Drive. *No left hand turns will be permitted off of Taylor Drive from 10:30 pm until after the completion of the event.* July 1st from 8:00 pm until 12:00 am- 45 St, northwest of 45 Ave (Capstone at Riverlands); 47 St, west of 54 Ave (Capstone at Riverlands).

Canada Day approaches, and we are gearing up for a day of fun down at Bower Ponds! Get ready for: Live Music! Dancing! Storytelling! International Food! Face Painting! Bouncy Houses! Celebrating community, with your community! ...and much, much more, for FREE ADMISSION! Parking will not be available on location. You can access Bower Ponds by walking, cycling, or taking advantage of the Park n' Ride Bus Service! Starting at 10:45, park for free, then depart from Sorensen Station for 15 minute service to Bower Ponds and back. FIREWORKS AT 11:00 PM
