Bridges/bridge is a fixed dental prosthesis. It is essentially a group of crowns joined together to replace a missing tooth/teeth. In a bridge the teeth adjacent to the missing tooth/teeth are taken as support and the missing tooth replaced. It is a fixed prosthesis so no issues of taking it out every moment to clean and maintain. It is a very good alternative to implants when implants are not feasible either due to the local oral conditions or due to the price.
